Interlaken is one of the oldest, best-known and most popular summer holiday resorts in Switzerland. The first visitors arrived in the 17th century, and as the means of transport improved with the arrival of the railway, boat services on the lakes and, more recently, the motorway, Interlaken became the main tourist center of the Bernese Oberland.
Famed for its breathtaking scenery, take a leisurely stroll through the Höhematte Park in the heart of town, where you’ll be rewarded with an unforgettable view of the Jungfrau massif.
